Maintaining the cleanliness of agricultural machinery parts is necessary for the normal operation of agricultural machinery, but it is difficult to handle different types of dirt. Below are several methods for removing agricultural machinery dirt for your reference.

Methods for removing scale

1. Remove scale. When removing scale from iron casting cylinders and other areas, hydrochloric acid with a concentration of 8% -10% and a corrosion inhibitor solution equivalent to 3% hydrochloric acid can be heated to 50-60 ℃ and injected into the water jacket. After soaking for 2-3 hours, it can be discharged and then cleaned with an aqueous solution containing potassium dichromate, or a 5% concentration caustic soda solution can be injected into the water jacket to neutralize residual acid solution. Then rinse several times with clean water until thoroughly cleaned.

2. Use caustic soda solution to remove scale. When removing scale mainly composed of silicates, a 2% -3% caustic soda solution can be added to the cooling system. After driving the vehicle for 1-2 days, it can be released and rinsed with clean water. Repeat this process once, and finally thoroughly clean the cooling system with clean water.

Oil pollution removal method

1. Use alkaline solution to remove oil stains. The removal of animal, vegetable, and mineral oils and fats on the surface of parts can be achieved by adding a small amount of emulsifier to a solid rehydration solution and cleaning it after heating. If pressure injection is used, the effect will be better. After cleaning, spray heated water to rinse off any residual alkaline solution on the surface of the parts.

2. Organic solvents are used to remove oil stains. To prevent corrosion of precision parts (such as high-pressure oil pumps, injectors, etc.) by alkaline solutions, organic solvents (such as gasoline, kerosene, alcohol, etc.) can generally be used for cleaning.

3. Aluminum alloy cleaning solution is used to remove oil stains. Due to the strong corrosive effect of alkaline solutions on aluminum alloys and the high cost of organic solvents, aluminum alloy cleaning solutions can be prepared when cleaning aluminum alloy parts. Generally, sodium silicate or sodium carbonate solution with a small amount of potassium dichromate is used to prepare, and the best effect can be obtained by heating to 60-70 ℃.

Methods for removing carbon deposits

1. Mechanical method. Metal brushes, shovels, and other tools can be used to remove carbon deposits. However, this method is prone to scratching the surface of the parts, so removing carbon deposits on precision parts should be done using a wooden or bamboo scraper, or by rubbing back and forth on a cork board. After using mechanical methods to remove carbon deposits from parts, it is necessary to carefully clean them with engine oil. This method is easy to operate, but the drawback is that the hard to reach parts are not easy to clean.

2. Chemical methods. Soak the parts in the prepared chemical solution, wait for the carbon deposits to soften and loosen, then remove the parts, wipe them off with a brush or cotton thread, and wash them with hot water.
